The remains of a thirteenth century Dominican friary, only the cloisters remain now and are now home to craft shops and a restaurant, the lawns are a lovely place to sit on a warm summer’s day however it has a rather eerie atmosphere after dark and the ghost of a long dead monk has been seen and heard on many occasions over the years!
